AI and Me.

Whew… this doesn’t look like much but it required a lot of introspection.  I don’t tend to spend a lot of time assessing how I want other people to see, view or know me.  I work from home, don’t associate with the general public very often and do grocery pickups. I am not agoraphobic… I just really like my house, my space and doing what I want when I want without anyone else’s opinion on how I live my life.

AI is a bit controversial and I get it.  It is making parts of my own job obsolete and if my boss actually knew how to use it, I’d be out of a job.  But still I think there are some educational benefits to everyone learning to use AI.  First and foremost, know thy enemy and what they are capable of doing.  I think it’s important to understand HOW artificial intelligence works.  I don’t agree with everything it can do, but I use it to understand it.  And for the record, AI is wrong a lot with the information it provides.  One thing to remember… it was coded by smart people then partially trained by every genius AND dimwit with a cell phone whether they knew they were doing it or not.  So, just know, we have already built in its own demise.  With AI, I have built spreadsheets, revamped code on our company website, and built my own legion of Chibi-style cartoons of all the dogs ever in our family. 😂  you know… important stuff.

The “art”… it took a bit of fiddling with ChatGPT to get it to spit out a cartoon of me.  It kept wanting to put a cat at my feet… I guess because I wear all black nearly all the time and it thinks I am a witch.  😂  it’s not totally wrong, I do like cats, just not in my house and we don’t have any.  I do tend to be a bit green/cottage/hedgy in my daily life and I know a fair bit about herbs and lunar cycles so I can see why people (and AI… I’m sure it knows my Google search history, too) might label me that.  I am still learning to build prompts.  I know many people have adverse feelings about AI and the Arts, but I feel for my personal use, I am ok with it once in a while.  The cartoon of me also represents my learning to use AI and understanding what it can be used for… both good and bad.

The Doc Martens were a nice touch, I thought.
